Cosmetic Enhancement Procedures

Cosmetic dentistry is rapidly becomming the fastest growing segment of dental care.  Periodontics is no exception.

Recently, I had a patient come to my office approximately three months before her wedding.  She complained that her smile was too "gummy" and she didn't like her smile.  She wanted this addressed before the wedding.

Cosmetic procedures like crown lengthening are extremely successful and patients are quickly becomming more aware of the dramatic cosmetic changes that are a result.

Another type of patient pleasing cosmetic surgery is gingival augmentation or grafting to restore lost gum  from areas of recession.  Today, gum grafting is very predictable and is usually an easy procedure for patients to undergo.
